Badminton Championship : We are witnessing the 6th Gujarat State Badminton Championship for the first time in Junagadh. The event was presided by honourable guest Chief Guest Dr. Saurabh Pardhi, District Collector – Junagadh, Shri Girish Kotecha, Dy. Mayor – Junagadh and Mr. Nilesh Dhulesia, Chairman of Standing Commitee JMC.
This mega event has been organized by Junagadh District Badminton Association under the aegis of Gujarat Badminton Association. Junagadh is blooming with 207 entries from 187 youths from all over Gujarat and 110 matches are expected to be played over the next 5 days.
Let us encourage such sports in Junagadh so that we can organise sports events frequently thereby motivating our youth to stay healthy and participate actively in all types of sports!
