Junagadh Municipal Corporation has sealed 5 restaurants from Junagadh under fire prevention & life safety measures act-2013. The related notice was released by Municipal Commissioner Mr. V.J. Rajput. According to the notice, public places like restaurants, hotels & colleges must provide fire & safety equipment. These 5 restaurants violated this act & therefore restaurants like Diamond Parotha house, New Veer Vachhraj, Amber, Only fast food and food point were sealed. Restaurants will be unsealed only after the undertaking of 100 Rs. stamp & restaurants must provide the facilities within 2 days or else JMC will permanently seal them.

જૂનાગઢ મહાનગર પાલિકા દ્વારા ગુજરાત ફાયર પ્રીવેન્શન એન્ડ લાઈફ સેફટી મેજર્સ એક્ટ ૨૦૧૩ અંતર્ગત શહેર માં સ્થિત ૫ રેસ્ટોરન્ટને સીલ કરવા માં આવી છે. આને લગતું જાહેરનામું મ્યુન્સીપલ કમિસનર શ્રી વી. જે. રાજપૂત દ્વારા પ્રસિદ્ધ કરવા માં આવ્યું હતું. આ જાહેરનામા પ્રમાણે જ્યાં પબ્લિક એકઠી થતી હોઈ તેવી તમામ મિલ્કતો માં ફાઈર એન્ડ લાઈફ સેફટી ધ્યાનમાં રાખી સાધન સામગ્રી જેમકે ફાઈર એક્સટીનગ્યૂશર તેમજ ફાયર સિસ્ટમ ફિટિંગ લગાવવું જરૂરી હતું અને આ ૫ રેસ્ટોરન્ટમાં આ વાત નો ઉલ્લંઘન થયો હતો.જૂનાગઢની ડાયમંડ પરોઠા હાઉસ, ન્યૂ વીર વચ્છરાજ, અંબર, ઓન્લી ફાસ્ટ ફૂડ અને ફૂડ પોઇન્ટ ને સીલ કરવા માં આવી હતી. આ સીલ ૧૦૦ રૂપિયા ના સ્ટેમ્પ ને અંડરટેકિંગ માં જમા કરાવવા બાદ જ ખુલશે અને ૨ દિવસ ની અંદરજ તમામ રેસ્ટોરન્ટમાં આ સુવિધાઓ ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવાની રહેશે નહીંતર લાઇસેંસ કેન્સલ કરી ને પેરમેનન્ટલી સીલ કરી દેવા માં આવશે.
