The International Day of Older Persons is observed on October 1 each year. Junagadh Municipal Corporation will inaugurate a shelter for children & women on 1/10/2017 at Municipal Corporation quarters, Sukhnath Chowk, Junagadh from 11:00 am. In order to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, Garlands of “Surati Aati” will be placed on the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhi Chowk on 10:00 a.m.
