About the Campaign

Live Ratri is an event that we started organising in 2018. The initial idea was to broadcast local Garba & various traditional Garbi Locations online. In 2020, amid Covid 19 pandemic, the celebration of Garba was not allowed. We made a series of Garba videos in a safe environment and made it available to the audience during Navratri. So that people don't miss Garba. Aapdu Junagadh Live Ratri was one of the only few Garba shows on the internet that year. We continued this tradition in 2021 as well.

The year 2020 was very difficult for all because of the pandemic. The people of the city were upset about the Navratri celebration being cancelled. Amid this tough time, we tried to cheer our audience up by continuing to organise the Live Ratri event with the changes required to accommodate new Covid guidelines. We broadcasted pre-recorded videos every night during Navratri where we featured many different types of traditional and modern Garba.
